This is me!
Very inspired by many of my friends.
In the midst of covid-19, some take up courses to study or learn a new skill, some start up new businesses, some embark on a strict health regime to get fit, some bless others with food, stay engaged with technology to maintain the friendship, they are bursting with positivity and a “never say die” attitude.
A friend started a new “talk show” on Facebook live. People innovate, try out new business strategies and means of communication. (Not everything works but at least they try, there’s a saying, you miss 100% of the shots you don’t take.)
Even for those who lost their jobs, they aggressively look for a new one. They send out more than 20 CVs in a week. (Yes Gen Z person who complained of not finding a job after sending 20 CVs over several weeks, you can surely do better.) Some of them are hired and are happy to start new jobs. 👍🏻
They don’t spend a lot of time complaining on social media, they understand what is productive and what isn’t productive, they search for opportunities, they grow and multiply their talents.
Of course, it is easy to find reasons (or make excuses) and justify why your situation is worse off than everyone else.
But what’s important at the end of the day is your attitude.
People need positivity and hope. There is enough bad news in the world (especially this year). Spread hope, encourage others, bless others. (But don’t spread fake news! 😅)
You sow what you reap. If you sow blessings into others, you will receive blessings yourself. If you sow criticism, complaints and negativity, guess what will you reap?
Remember, we’re supposed to be salt and light. (We’re not called to be salty! 🤣)
加油 everyone!
