I am Macik Asiah. I am 59 years.
I received the third government payout today. The first was in April. The second was in May. the third this month. Very happy. Also relieved. I am a single mum with two parents and a son. I work as a baker to feed the mouths at home. All three are unemployed.
I saw my neighbour in the lift and I told him I got my share this afternoon. The first thing he commented was “so little”. I asked him to donate his money to other people since he did not appreciate it. I am not ashamed to say that a lot of poor people like me can save a lot of meals and groceries with this money. The government just not only give to one person but all the citizens regardless of income. Of course, You must be 21 years old and above but I also got a share for my son.
I was unable to work for two months because of this disease. No income and I was worried. I went to my minister and told him that virus is dangerous but no jobs more dangerous. Luckily, some of us can return to work now.
My advice is those who missed this payout for different reason must approach the help centres. Don’t worry.
